Anyone looking for a 1:24 or 1:18 overstuffed chair? I'll trade it with anyone for well, anything. It was a $3 ending soon impulse buy on ebay, I didn't read the measurements. Let me know if you do.
Does anyone know what those things on owl's door are?
I'm looking for a door like that but I can't find one. So I'm going to use the dutch door from the modern Owls house.

I've been watching your blog for a couple of weeks and been meaning to comment on your wonderful ideas. As to the doors I may be some help. The things at the top and bottom of the doors look like deadbolts and the thing in the middle of the top part of the door is also a lock commonly used in council houses and secure buildings, my university halls use them. They look kinda like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-YALE-MANUAL-DEADLOCKING-60MM-BRASS-DOOR-LOCK-P89KCBLX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ220374606953QQsalenotsupported- although mostly all brass.
As for the mesh thing in the very centre it goes over the space where a letter box is to catch the letters so that they don't fall on the floor and get eaten by the dog.
Wow, I found a lock like you said, and also... I found a working letterbox out of the UK, I got a black hinge for next to the door knob, and I'll have to make a mesh letter catcher.
The top one looks exactly like a deadbolt to me, but I bought black hinges shown in the picture above because I thought they matched and well, I think they'll do. I think technically they are called door straps when they aren't hinges. They are like $14!! Yipes :o
